Yasushi Nirasawa Passes Away

It has been confirmed that famed Creative Designer Yasushi Nirasawa has died due to kidney failure.

Nirasawa started his career as an assistant to illustrator Makoto Kobayashi and debut with a remodeled kit of the Marasai mobile suit in Hobby Japan back in 1987. Since went on to be a designer for Shin Megami Tensei IV, Kamen Rider, Monster Hunter: Frontier G, and Godzilla: Final Wars just to name a few.

Nirasawa also did concept art for Beast Warriors, Space Truckers, BlowOut, A-Rank Thunder Tanjouhen, and Soulcalibur.

Yasushi Nirasawa was 52 years old.
