Very sad news to cover as Pennylvania newspaper Patriot News has confirmed that voice actor Billy Kametz has passed away at the age of 35 after an ongoing battle with Stage IV colon cancer.
While still having a fairly short career by voice acting standards, Kametz played a part in voices several video games and anime dating back to 2016. Video game titles include Pokemon Masters, Persona 5 Royal, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Triangle Strategy.
Many fans of anime will always remember him as the voice of Josuke Higashikata in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Naofumi Iwatani in The Rising of the Shield Hero.
