Ubisoft Says Prince Of Persia Remake Is “Not Cancelled”

There has been some major speculation that the planned Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time Remake had been cancelled that Ubisoft had to announce on their website that this was not the case. This came after the company issued refunds for many pre-orders.

Ubisoft gave the reasoning that this was done “since the game currently does not have a release date.”

The planned remake has seemingly been in development hell ever since the game was announced to the public back in 2021. The game had been planned for a January 2021 launch, but was pushed back until March. This ultimately never happened and has since been “postponed indefinitely.”
