Two More Franchise Slots For Call of Duty World League Sold

Activision Blizzard Esports Leagues have announced that two more franchise slots have been sold for the Call of Duty World League. These two franchise slots were sold to Kroenke Sports & Entertainment who will be operating a second team out of Los Angeles, and Misfits Gaming who will run a team out of an undisclosed location within Florida.

This now means that 9 slots have been sold at a reported price of $25 million. Many also expect the debut franchise season of CWL to feature at least 12 teams similar to that of the Overwatch League.
