According to a new article by Variety, Sony Pictures Television and Playstation Productions are developing a live-action series based on the world of Twisted Metal.
The series will be based on an original take by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the writers behind the “Deadpool” films and “Zombieland.” Michael Jonathan Smith will serve as the executive producer of the series. Smith most recently served as the executive producer of the Cobra Kai series.
It’s currently unknown who will be the distributor of the series.
