According to a report by ESPN staff writer Jacob Wolf, Team Dignitas have hired Michael Prindiville to be their new CEO. Prindiville previously worked at NBC Sports as the executive producer to The 2 Robbies before later being hired on as the New Property Development.
Prindiville also has connections to Esports as he was the Co-Creator and COO of Universal Open and the Executive Producer of the Universal Open Rocket League.
While it’s unknown what the future holds for the organization, sources for ESPN said they are considering applying for a spot in the European League Championship Series and have also been pitched by Activision Blizzard about possibly joining the Overwatch League.
