Square-Enix Issues Statement Regarding Adventures of Mana’s PS Vita Version

Posted on by Ryan

One of the most talked about issues in the JRPG world revolves around the recently remade Adventures of Mana game. The issue that people have had is that the game was released worldwide on both iOS and Android devices. However, when the game was released in Japan, it was also released on PS Vita as well as iOS and Android.

This has led Producer Masaru Oyamada to release this statement regarding the issue…

“Thank you for all of your comments on a PS Vita edition of Adventures of Mana.

We’ve been listening to your feedback and because of your passion for the game, we’re going to look into making a PS Vita version of Adventures of Mana for the west. We can’t guarantee we’ll be able to make this happen but we will see what we can do.

We’ll let you know if we have any news, so watch out for future updates and thank you for your support.”

How can’t they not make it? The localization is already made for the iOS and Android versions, and the game already exists on Vita.

Combine the two and you get a localized Vita version…

Seems silly not to. I mean I’d buy it for my Vita in a heartbeat.

I’m not so keen on getting it for my phone. Not just because of control restraints but because of memory issues; I’ve only got 16gb non-expandable in my Nexus 5 so I have to pick and choose what I put on there. I won’t be uninstalling Cytus anytime soon. Ha.
