South Korean Overwatch Hackers Arrested, Fined $9,300

Blizzard Korea have released a statement revealing that after a one-year investigation by the Seoul Metropolitan Police, 13 people have been arrested and two have been sentenced. This is for breaking a 2016 law that criminalizes the creation and distribution of aimbots within the country.

The first sentenced was given two years probation while the other was fined ₩10 million ($9,300 USD). The remaining 11 who were arrested have yet to be sentenced.
