Some Music Being Removed From Grand Theft Auto IV

With Grand Theft Auto IV turning 10 this year, some music licenses are expiring which will result in some of the music disappearing from the game. This comes after a report from Kotaku UK that some music would be removed with most of them coming from the radio station Vladivostok FM.

A representative from Rockstar Games told Kotaku:

“Due to music licensing restrictions, we are required to remove certain songs from the in-game soundtrack of Grand Theft Auto IV and its Episodes, in particular a large portion of the Russian pop station, Vladivostok FM. However we are replacing some of those songs with a new set of songs on that station. We will update our customer support website with new information as soon as it is available.”

It is unknown which songs will be removed or if it will effect other radio stations.
