Despite only being out for a little over a month, Slightly Mad Studios has announced that they are already crowdfunding for the sequel to Project Cars. On Project Car’s Official Website the studio said..
“With an existing schedule of ON DEMAND content already underway to continue providing Project CARS with fresh new features, updates, and great things to play with throughout the year, Slightly Mad Studios now turns its attention to the future with the announcement of the continuation of the franchise with Project CARS 2. And once again, the sequel will be created, tested, and ultimately approved by you – the gamers – through the WMD Portal crowd-funding platform.”
Project Cars 2 will feature 50 unique locations with over 200 courses as well as more than 200 cars. Also included are RallyCross, co-op career modes, hillclimbs, esports features, and seamless connectivity.
When players asked about if this meant that they will not focus on the first game, Slightly Mad Studios went on Twitter and said…
“Project CARS will continue to see massive updates, features, and content throughout 2015 & beyond. Project CARS 2 will happen simultaneously”
