Rumors are quickly circulating that Toronto’s new Overwatch League team will be called the Toronto Venom. This comes after an image surfaced on the r/Competitiveoverwatch section of Reddit with the uploader claiming it originated from 4chan.
Many seem to believe this is a possibility as the owner of Toronto’s Overwatch League team is Splyce and would follow suit with the snake theme. On the other hand, the image originates from a post on 4chan who are known to troll people.
Please keep in mind that Splyce have not made any announcement on what the team will be named.
