There is a rumor spreading around that the next game in the Tomb Raider franchise will be title Shadow of the Tomb Raider and will be developed by Eidos Montreal.
This comes after a Reddit user posted the image above of a man working on a presentation for “Shadow of the Tomb Raider” on a laptop while on a train in Montreal.
Reports also suggested that Kotaku reached out to some of their sources who reportedly verified the name was genuine. The confusing part in all of this is that the Tomb Raider games are developed by Crystal Dynamics and not Eidos. Eidos Montreal are the same studio who develop the Deus Ex games.
