Rumor: Assassin’s Creed: Empire To Be Announced At E3 2017

According to sources for WWG, the next Assassin’s Creed game that goes under the code-name Assassin’s Creed: Empire will be announced at E3 2017 and release in Fall 2017. The game will be known as Assassin’s Creed: Origins once it’s released.

It’s also believed it will feature two main characters—a man and a woman—and revolves around the original Assassin’s guild, and will feature a progression system much like the one used in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The game map would be the largest in franchise history with navel combat returning, and be set in Egypt and possibly Greece.

The rumors also coincide with a Reddit user who claimed to work for a company that makes pre-order cards for different retailers. The user claims to have seen one for Assassin’s Creed: Origins with artwork featuring a pyramid in the background, as well as Far Cry 5.
