According to rumors originating from 4chan, a new Assassin’s Creed game is in development under the codename Assassin’s Creed Empire and will take place in ancient Egypt. An image was also posted on Twitter by user LazerzZHD featuring the pause menu of a very early build.
The key notes from the image is the top right hand corner it says ““Crafting allows you to upgrade your armor” which leads many to believe that crafting will be more detailed. There is also an E-Store which means there will probably be microtransactions as well.
While this is still a rumor and many believe that it could be fake, several on Reddit have claimed Ubisoft is sending copyright strikes to a video containing the image leak.
