Report: SSONG To Be Head Coach Of TSM

According to a report by ESPN, Kim “SSONG” Sang-soo will be the next head coach for Team SoloMid. SSONG is very well respected in the League of Legends world has he has coached some of the top-tier teams in South Korea including Longzu and ROX. Most recently, he coached Immortals to the World Championship following the organization’s last LCS split.

SSONG would replace Parth Naidu who while led TSM to three straight NA LCS championships, has never been able to get the team out of the group stage at Worlds.

Some are speculating that the acquisition of SSONG means that the organization could bring in a player from South Korea in the future. TSM has always had a belief that communication could suffer due to the language barrier if one was brought in, but with the coach being from the region and experience in the LCK it’s a possibility.
