Pokémon Go users have datamined the app and have discovered a couple of caps in the game. According to the data, the level cap for Pokémon Go is currently set at 40. This would take 25 million experience points to do and 5 million of it would be obtained from level 39-40.
Egg level cap is also set at 20 and any egg that is obtained after passing level 20 will have the same quality as a level 20 egg and
the level cap of wild Pokémon is set at 30 once the player reached level 30.
