In something that would come out of an episode of “To Catch A Predator”, Cnet has confirmed that a new former Playstation executive has been fired from the company after getting caught up in an undercover pedophile sting operation.
George Cacioppo, a senior vice president of engineering at Sony, was caught after a vigilante YouTube channel known as People V. Preds uploaded a video confronting Cacioppo at his home after trying to arrange a sexual encounter with a 15-year-old boy on the dating app Grindr.
The YouTuber also uploaded conversations with Cacioppo to Google Drive and has since passed along all the information to the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office.
