Paramount Acquires Movie Rights To Sonic The Hedgehog

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Pictures has have acquired the rights to Sonic the Hedgehog and will be moving forward with the long rumored live-action and CGI animated movie.

While the project has been in limbo since 2014, we do know which staff members still remain. This includes Co-Producers of Life is Strange Dmitri Johnson and Dan Jevons. Others include Producer Neal M. Moritz (I Know What You Did Last Summer), Executive Producer Tim Miller (Deadpool)  and Director Jeff Fowler (Where The Wild Things Are).
