Overwatch Pro Adam Claims Florida Mayhem Didn’t tell Him In Person He Was Being Released

In a surprise move to many, the Florida Mayhem announced they have made changes to the roster and coaching staff. The Mayhem have released off-tank Adam Adam Soong, signed Rupal Rupal Zaman from Redbird Esports, and promoted Young-seo KariV Park to the team’s assistant coach.

Adam, who joined the team before the 2022 Overwatch League season, took to Twitter to say that no one within the Mayhem told him in person he was being released from the team and is attempting to cover it up. Stating:

You guys didn’t have the respect to drop me in person and now your trying to hide it without an actual announcement? Cmon….

Thanks for the opportunity and good luck my team. Good to meet people and live in the States even though it wasn’t for long. Sad I didn’t get to play. On the plane home now

The Florida Mayhem are currently ranked 4th overall in the West division of the Overwatch League. Their next match is tomorrow against the London Spitfire.
