OGN Reportedly Shutting Down

According to a report by Fomos reporter Kim Yong-woo, South Korean esports and gaming-dedicated broadcasting station OGN will be shutting down on December 31.

According to Kim, the reason for this shut down is due to falling revenues from advertisements related to COVID-19. It’s viewership rating even dropped to a record low 0.005 this past September.

At the time of publishing, neither CJ ENM or OGN have commented on the report.
