Yes, you read that right, today Mojang announced that we will finally be seeing an update to the console version of Minecraft. Tomorrow an update will be pushed out which will feature a lot of updates that I am personally very excited for. Yes, stained glass is here but so much more. Some of the things mentioned was now the option to customize your super flat world. If you don’t like mountains and caverns then you will enjoy this. Also, new blocks will be included. New Oak, Spruce, Birch, and Jungle types. New fences, Gates, and doors. All of which has been seen in the PC version of Minecraft and in my opinion is a huge help to the game. You will be able to change the game mode, difficulty, time, player spawn position, ambient cave sounds, and weather without leaving your game session. This sounds like a very welcome change. Classic crafting is coming to the console version for the first time. This is what the PC players have used for years now. Finally, they have added iron trap doors, inverted daylight sensors, and as mentioned before stained glass. Console Minecraft players should be very excited about what is coming.
