Longtime Starcraft Pro soO Leaving Scene For Military Service

An end of an era for one of the most esports scene in the world as thanks to Korean outlet Daily Esports, we have learned that longtime Starcraft pro player Eo “soO” Yun-su will be leaving the scene on October 22 to do his mandatory military service.

soO is one of the longest-running esports professionals in all of gaming competing in the Starcraft scene since the Brood War days back in 2008 where he competed under the SK Telecom T1 brand until their disbanding of their Starcraft division in 2016. In his lifespan, soO has finished in the top 2 of several tournaments and has accumulated over $600,000 in prize money.
