Kaga Create Closes Down

Kaga Create, publishers of Saki: The Nationals and Higurashi When They Cry, has shut its doors down effective December 31, 2015.

The company was founded in 1988 under the name Naxat and published games for the Sega Saturn, PC Engine, Dreamcast, Super Nintendo, Game Boy, and Playstation.

The reason for the closure was due to the lack of profit in today’s game market.
