Fans of skateboarding have been asking for a new game for the sport to release for quite some time. While we are seeing Skater XL release later this year, one popular series might be seeing a return.
In a recent appearance on The Nine Club podcast, professional skateboarder Jason Dill claimed that a new entry in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater franchise will be releasing later this year.
The conversation went as follows:
Jason Dill: “Do you guys know that there’s a new Tony Hawk pro skateboarding game coming out in 2020?”
Chris Roberts: “I heard about that.”
Jason Dill: “My song is in it.”
Chris Roberts: “Oh, sick. Wow.”
Jason Dill: “So I made sure to add my board to the boards you can pick, because I wanted to be in that shit, too, somehow. And that was a vain-ass move on my part, and I’ll admit it!”
The last entry in the series as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 which released in 2015 to overwhelmingly negative reviews.
