GameStop Managers Complain Of No Extra Payroll Despite Extended Hours

While the world slowly starts going back to normal, not everyone seems to making that adjustment. One of the biggest ones seems to be video game retailer GameStop.

According to several managers on the GameStop subreddit, corporate have started extending opening hours, but with little or no extra payroll for employees. This stated after one manager noted that opening hours have extended an extra six hours, but has received zero extra hours. Many seem to have only received a total of 68 hours of payroll for the week meaning that most keyholders will be working from open to close without cover. Others have specifically pointed out that store operating hours for Friday and Saturday have extended to 11am-9pm.

While payroll hours have increased, the main consensus has been managers receiving a max of six hours extra per week.
