The reboot to Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, has done very well since its release 2 years ago. With the releases in many countries, the amount of people playing it are growing.
Square-Enix revealed today that there are now 5 million registered users throughout North America, Europe, Japan, and China. This figure is not active subscriptions, but players who have registered and once played the game. Free trial accounts were not included in this number.
This does not include the numbers from South Korea as the game was just released in the country a few days ago.
