Fans Start Petition For ESRB To Declare Lootboxes Gambling

Last week we reported that the ESRB has deemed lootboxes to not be a form of gambling as there definition of gambling is “Player can gamble, including betting or wagering real cash or currency” Now it appears that fans are now trying to take matters in their own hands by starting a petition online asking for the ESRB to reverse their decision. At the time of publishing, the petition has received 1,731 signatures.

It’s worth noting that many online petitions sadly go nowhere despite some receiving tens of thousands of signatures.
