ESL UK Hit With Layoffs

ESL UK Managing Director James Dean has confirmed that the United Kingdom offices of ESL have been hit with layoffs. Dean said in a press release:

“The ESL UK mission has always been to grow UK esports and we remain 100% committed to that cause. We therefore look forward to returning on January 2nd after the Christmas break when the office will reopen when we will continue to contribute to the burgeoning UK esports scene.”

30 employees in the offices were affected.
