Duke Nukem Film In Development

According to a new piece by The Hollywood Reporter, Legendary Pictures have acquired the film rights to Duke Nukem and plan on making a film based off the video game franchise.

While they project does not have a writer, we do know that Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg will all be attached to the project. This trio are best known as the creators for the popular Netflix series Cobra Kai based off the Karate Kid franchise. The film will also be produced by Jean-Julien Baronnet who also acted as the producer for the Assassin’s Creed movie.
