It sure didn’t take long for speedrunners to beat The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is sub 1 hour as earlier today a speedrunner who goes by gymnast86 beat the game with a world record time of 53 minutes 13 seconds.
In the past 48 hours, three speedrunners have beaten the game in under 1 hour. Second place belongs to Venick with a time of 54 minutes 05 seconds while third place belongs to Orcastraw at 58 minutes 06 seconds. It’s also worth noting that all 3 times were done using the Wii U version of the game.
