Atari Jaguar Voice Modem Prototype Surfaces

A major piece of retro gaming has found its way to eBay as seller grasstie has placed for sale an Atari Jaguar Voice Modem prototype.

The Jaguar Voice Modem, or JVM for short, was a dial-up modem that allowed you to answer incoming phone calls and store up to 19 phone numbers. It also would have allowed you to have online play. This is widely believed to be the reason why the Jaguar controller featured numerical pads. The voice modem was never released and there is believed to only be 100-150 in existence.

The current listing price is $299.99.
