Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate Delayed On PC

Ubisoft announced this Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will be delayed on PC. While console players will receive it on October 23, but PC owners will have to wait until November 19. Ubisoft stated that the reason behind this decision is for”PC players get the most stable, optimized version of the game on day one.”

Ubisoft Kiev Studio Production Manager Sam Kovalev explained…

“We have introduced several new improvements to our production pipeline and validation process, which allowed us to focus on polishing, stabilizing and optimizing the PC version very early on in the project. This has been one of the top priorities for the production team this year. The additional four weeks are for us to really bear down and finalize all of the polish and optimization, to make sure the game and all of its systems are stable when it launches, so it runs smoothly for all players starting on day one.”

This has a lot to do with all the negative backlash the company received last year after Assassin’s Creed: Unity was plague with several issues which eventually led to Ubisoft halting season pass sales and offered refunds.

Ubisoft has yet to reveal the required system requirements, but are aiming for 1080p and 30fps.
