According to a source for Smash JT, Amazon Canada have started cancelling pre-orders for the Intellivision Amico without telling them beforehand. JT was provided with an e-mail from Amazon Canada from an anonymous sources noting that their pre-order for a black Intellivision Amico was cancelled “because they aren’t available from the supplier anymore.”
The past two weeks alone have been very rough for Intellivision as the company ended their StartEngine crowdfunding campaign early and refunded all of their backers on the platform. Prior to this article, new surfaced earlier today by The Geek Getaway that the developers for Moon Patrol were found to have liquidated almost 9 months ago.
