Activision Blizzard Reportedly Close To $18 Million Sexual Harassment Settlement

According to a new report by Shannon Liao of The Washington Post, Activision Blizzard are reportedly close to settling an ongoing sexual harassment suit. The Washington Post obtained documents from a California court filing stating that U.S. District Judge Dale Fischer is “prepared to approve” the settlement that would see Activision Blizzard pay $18 million victims of sexual harassment and discrimination while employed with the company.

A spokesperson for Activision Blizzard told The Washington Post in a statement:

“We are pleased that the Court recognizes our agreement with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is fair, adequate and in the public interest. Our goal has always been to provide immediate and meaningful compensation to eligible employees who choose to participate and to continue workplace improvements that make Activision Blizzard a model for our industry.”
