Activision Blizzard Employees Move Forward With Unionizing, Launch Strike Fund

The momentum for Activision Blizzard employees forcing changes within the company have gained some steam as a few employees have launched a GoFundMe to raise funds for an upcoming strike and push for unionization.

With a goal of $1 million, the GoFundMe will be used to support workers and they go on strike demanding various changes within Activision Blizzard including equal pay, action against sexual misconduct, and the resignation of current Activision CEO Bobby Kotick. . According to emails obtained by The Washington Post, maagement told employees they will be paid for the first 3 days of their planned walkout.

At the time of publishing, the GoFundMe has raised $215,000.
