GameFly Reveals the ‘Most Requested’ Games of 2010

Earlier today GameFly released their “most request” games of 2010. The rankings are based on each member’s GameQ, which is “a personal wish list of games available for rent.” Below are the Top 10 “Most Requested” Xbox 360 Games of 2010.

What is the Most Pirated Xbox Game of 2010?

While we all know that pirating games is a big no-no, people still do it all the time. While many think that it’s usually done only on PC’s, they’re partially correct. While PC games tend to have the most illegal downloads as far as total numbers, there are people who get a hold of illegal games on consoles like the Xbox 360. All of these numbers are confirmed according to sources including those of public BitTorrent tracker reports and TorrentFreak. So what is the most pirated Xbox game of 2010? Well the answer will surprise you. For those guess Call of Duty: Black Ops or Halo Reach, your incorrect. However both of them did make it into the top 5. Below are the Top 5 Most Pirated Xbox Games of 2010.

1. Dante’s Inferno – 1,280,000 (released Feb. 2010)
2. Alan Wake – 1,140,000 (released May 2010)
3. Red Dead Redemption – 1,060,000 (released May 2010)
4. Halo: Reach – 990,000 (released Sept. 2010)
5. Call of Duty: Black Ops – 930,000 (released Nov. 2010)

That’s right, Dante’s Inferno is the most pirated game on Xbox 360. Just for giggles, we’re also going to give you the Top 5 for PC games as well. These games on this list won’t surprise you, but the numbers sure might.

Time Magazine Releases Top 10 Games Of The Year

Earlier Today Time Magazine released its yearly top ten of everything. So it was proper that they release the Top 10 Video Games. What may have lots of people shocked about the list is that Call of Duty: Black Ops didn’t even make their top 10. What’s even more amazing is what game they put at the number one spot; Alan Wake. So why is this game at the top spot? Time Magazine writer Evan Narcisse said…

“Its mix of meta-awareness and Hitchcockian suspense make Alan Wake a unique and fun experiment and one of the best games of the year.”
